A simple yet classic style dog door by Veneer Design – dog doors installed in laundry and mudroom doors are great, especially if your dogs like to bring a lot of dirt and grime into the house with them as they're so much easier to clean than 'soft' living spaces.
They make great dual-purpose dog rooms and dog-wash rooms as well!

Wall Dog Door Ideas - With Matching Trim

How stinkin' cute are the above and below dog door installs?!
They've both taken a standard dog door and added a miniature lockable internal door with trim to match the interior design and decor – such a great idea! Not only do they add an element of security but they also allow the owners to control when their fur-babes have access to the outdoors.
Coincidentally, both dog doors have been installed into walls rather than doors (as was typically the traditional standard). We love it!

Hidden/Concealed Dog Door Ideas
Sometimes doggy doors can get a bit mucky… what better way to conceal them than in cabinetry?! Such a neat idea. It also means they are not immediately obvious to visitors and can be hidden away at a pinch. Internal Dog Gate and Built in Dog Door Ideas
Dog gates and dog doors tend to go hand in hand, right?
Especially if your pup has free access to the garden, sometimes it is best to restrict them to certain areas of the house upon returning inside – because let's face it, they don't always return smelling of roses!
Not only that, pet gates are also great for keeping your pooches (and your belongings) safe when you are out. Limiting access to designated puppy-proof, easy to clean areas is a no-brainer.

Talk about seamless integration! A stroke of genius by the designers above – converting one of the glass door window panes into a hidden pet entrance. I'm loving the integrated dog room decor and cabinetry as well. The internal half-door pet gate is an awesome addition too. Well done to those cleverly creative designers! I'm sure the owners were delighted with these mod-cons.

PetSafe Freedom Patio Panels like the one pictured above are great if you are renting or don't want to cut any permanent holes in doors or walls. We had one in our old place – it worked great and was easy to remove when we left, only issue we had was it was a tad fiddley to install! Maybe it was just us?! Either way, a great temporary yet secure dog door solution.
